Further learning, launched in September 2019, take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays, starting at 2.25. The sessions run until 3.25, and students have the opportunity to stay and enjoy a wide range of extra curricular activities beyond their school day. This is our commitment to ensuring every young person at Pakefield has the chance to see that school is about more than just exam results.
Staff in each learning team have planned a series of exciting and engaging activities which will allow Pakefield students to develop new skills and try new experiences.
Students in Years 7 to 9 are able to choose from activities such as Conspiracy Theories, Life Hacks, Trampolining and Messy Art.

Students in Years 10 and 11 use further learning time for intervention, attending sessions that will plug gaps in their knowledge.
The sessions cycle through the learning teams each half term, so all students have an opportunity to enjoy the offer provided from each learning team.
