COVID Catch Up Premium
The COVID catch up premium provides us with a per pupil sum of funding to assist with our strategy of filling gaps in student knowledge as a result of school closure during the spring and summer term 2019-20.
The document below outlines how we will deploy this funding, based on the tiered approach recommended by the EEF research, and the effect it will have. Within school data will be used to track and monitor the impact of each tier of the strategy.
Year 7 Catch Up Funding
The literacy and numeracy catch up premium provide schools with additional money for each Year 7 student who has not achieved a score of 100 in reading and /or maths at the end of Key Stage 2.
All state-funded schools with Year 7 receive this funding, which is based on cohort size and not the number of students who score less than the 100 thresholds.
Below is a document which outlines our Catch Up Funding Statement, detailing our strategies and expenditure for this academic year, along with an overview of the impact we had in the previous year.
